After a devastating loss in South Carolina Jeb Bush has decided to suspend his bid for the 2016 Presidential election. After weeks of rising questions from sponsors and supporters on why he should continue his campagin, this loss in SC was the nail in the coffin.
“I’m proud of the campaign we won to unify our country, and to advocate conservative solutions… But the people of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina have spoken,” Bush said to a hote ballroom full of staffers, donors and longtime friends, some of whom burst into tears. “Tonight I am suspending my campaign.”
This is a breath of fresh air for anti-establishment voters, since it is well known that Jeb is a hardcore establishment puppet. Looks like one by one the poster boys of neo-conservatism are falling prey to voters who are tired of business as usual. Of course, this is only the case if the votes being cast are actually counted these days, another subject that many people are voicing concerns over since the poll-defying outcome in Iowa. Will the American people succeed out ousting the establishment GOP and DNC? Time will tell.
